I have only ever used Window on my PC. In fact I even use I.E. as opposed to FF & O. So as u can see with computers I like to stay in the shallow end of the pool where I can touch the bottom.

But..... in a moment of weakness I have downloaded unbuntu 9. So b4 I insert the CD lets check my PC.

I have a C: drive with XP sp3 with 50Gb. The D Drive is for safe keeping of files/storage. I need MS Office & Adobe Photoshop (CS4).

The pre-install questions are;

Does ubuntu support MS Office & Adobe??
Can I install as dual operating system ubuntu/Win XP?

Of the 50 GB HDD WINXP has about 11Gb. Do I need to partition first or will ubuntu claim its own space in C?
